The staff is very friendly, but don’t... read more The location is lovely, especially on a sunny day. However, the decor feels quite outdated, and the food is just average. The staff is very friendly, but don’t expect a gourmet experience. Unfortunately, they also don’t seem to serve Earl Grey tea. While it’s quite a distance from other places, that’s not necessarily a downside. It’s a great stop if you’re heading further north.

The hospitality feels traditional and welcoming. There's even a sanctuary for red squirrels! It's located away from the road, so it’s quiet, and there's ample parking available. The breakfast buffet is impressive, featuring fruit, yogurt, juices, and a wide selection of hot items, including deliciously soft fried eggs. The à la carte dinner is outstanding, with freshly cooked meats and vegetables. Don't waste your time searching elsewhere—just stay here!

Any one that is a coeliac please be aware of this , they don’t know anything about cross contamination or what is gluten free and what is not . If you are staying at this hotel and you need gluten free food keep on asking questions and looking out for their mistakes that could leave you feeling ill .
