We decided a nice steak dinner would help so we found Nate's from reading other Google reviews. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Even though it wasvery busy and crowded, the atmosphere was so calming. Our wonderful waitress, Vicki, was so friendly and caring. We loved thefresh abundant salad bar and the onion petals. We shared a 10 oz. ribeye that was grilled to perfection. It was so juicy andflavorful! The only disappointment was we were so full, we couldn't indulge in the delicious looking German chocolate cake! Youwill be blessed by eating at Nate's Steakhouse. The owner came to check on us, and we could tell that he truly cares for hiscustomers. We will be back!

For the most part the food was good, BUT, there were some small issues. First of all, I ordered an 8 Oz ribeye, it was tender but wasn 'tmuch flavor to it. I 'm not saying it was bad, but it was just ok . My daughter had asparagus, and there wasn 't much at all onher plate. I would say there were approx 5 stalks. And on top of that they weren 't done,; they were still crunchy. My dad hadthe fish fillets, and they were spot on GOOOD!!! (He let me try one) So with that said, if they could add the flavor to thesteaks and make sure food is cooked properly it will be a 4.5-5!! Yes, I will go back and give them more chances.

The fried chicken salad was pretty much 2 chicken tenders cut up on a plate and then I was told to go to the salad bar. $14. (For a perspective, a trip to the salad bar was included on everyoneelse's order, including the $13 catfish platter). Not what I was expecting. At least they had pickled okra. Should have gottenthe catfish. Friendly staff.

Ordered 12 piece grilled shrimp with a baked potato. I added a side of asparagus. When my meal was served, the asparagus and the hush puppies, which were included, were missing. The server said she would tell the waitress. About 15minutes later I was able to flag the waitress down. She said she would take care of it. After much delay and after the rest ofmy meal was already cold, she came back and informed me that they did not have any asparagus. She never brought the hushpuppiesout and never mentioned them again. This was both my first and last trip to Nate's!!
