We have been eating here since the cafe opened and have loved every experience. After recently changing to a vegan diet we now know how truely lucky Echuca is to have such and amazing plant based restaurant. The variety of sweet and savoury dished teamed with amazing coffee and juices means that there is without a doubt something that will please everyone. The corn fritters and the pancakes are to die for!! I have tr... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Sweet Meadow:
Soy latte was delicious. Food was pretty good. Setting is lovely, in a real quaint part of Echuca. Staff were friendly but one criticism would be the lack of following covid safe rules. Not one staff was wearing a mask. They did ask for vaccination status but did not feel masks were required, even though most customers were doing the right thing and wearing theirs inside. It was so refreshing to find a plant-based café in a country town! We made a quick stop to breakfast and I had the açai smoothie bowl that delicious and fill! They also sold a wide range of vegan chocolates and treats.
Always a must to visit when I'm in the area, food is always amazing and inspired, service-friendly and great treats! Everything is done to order, take a bit of time, especially when busy, but it doesn't matter to wait a bit to get so great food updated from previous review on 2022-10-29
Love love love love love this little hub in my city, still have to be omitted (except that they have to stop serving my favorite Mylk).
Loves this sweet little place in a sweet little town. We were in Sweet Meadow before we went through. I found my food to be a bit tasteless and I like my smashed avo a little cloby not whipped (this is probably just me), but it was still good enough. The service was excellent, the whole mood of the place was so beautiful. We ordered the big breakfast, the pumpkintoasty, Mandel Chai and a few of the carrot cakes cupcakes
I was happy to see one place around the area that had a plant based menu. The cafe itself is easy to spot and is on a main road, with outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outdoors as we had our dogs with us they have a little doggy water bowl out the front and blankies for when you're cold. There are lots of options on the menu, and the food is really nice, well thought and moreish, even to someone who isn't vegan. Too bad, we live hours away! Otherwise, this would definitely be a place to dine at regularly.
