Washed down with a local chardonnay and beer.

The... read more This was a return visit as we had enjoyed a lunch here before, what happened ? I ordered the special Greek lamb with green salad and greek roasted potatoes. The supposed "Char grilled" lamb had been over cooked, it was dry on the edges and very greasy. I think it had be previously carved and then pan fried again) the potatoes, what there was of them ( two thinly sliced wedges) also greasy and the "salad" well a bit of greens with a few sliced onions. Over cooked Over priced Over it. Lost me and the group of 4 others.

Service was kind and accommodating, patiently wa... read more My 9 year old daughter enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Star Hotel. It was generous, tasty and reasonably priced. Service was kind and accommodating, patiently waiting whilst we debated the merits or indoor v's outdoor dining. Will definitely go again when next in Echuca.
