It was a lovely day, weather sunny and about 19 degrees Celsius perfect for sitting in the courtyard for lunch at the Bridge hotel. The staff were friendly, there was ample choice of beers and cider on tap, the menu was classic pub. We shared the trio of dips and a a bowl of wedges, more than enough to satisfy those hunger cravings. Other meals coming to the tables looked well sized and plates were all going back emp... What User doesn't like about Henrys Bridge Hotel:
We stopped here for a cuppa and cake while walking along the Port of Echuca - $16 for small lukewarm coffees and we shared a lemon lime tart that certainly didn't taste like lemon or lime! Food and Coffee disappointing but the fire pits and outside settings in the sun were its saving grace - nice spot but needs to lift its game with food . View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is incredible! They have a wide variety of food and drinks on the menu. It is conveniently located with nearby parking. I highly recommend giving it a try!
After reading some mixed reviews about the Bridge, we decided to visit for a drink yesterday and lunch today with some hesitation. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly hospitable on both days and the service was exceptional. The meals were also delicious. The restaurant has a lovely beer garden in the back and a front verandah to enjoy the winter sun. Plus, they are dog friendly! We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Echuca.
The restaurant was really crowded due to the jazz and blues festival happening, as we had anticipated. The drinks were a bit expensive, but that could have been because of the festival. Although we didn't order food, it seemed to be coming out from the kitchen regularly, so it didn't appear to be an issue.
This I was told is the oldest pub in Echuca and it had recently been renovated. It was cold and wet and we were ready for lunch. The young waiter come barman was a lovely young man telling us some of the history of the pub. My husband ordered the grub hamburger and asked why this delicious burger was given this name. The man said he was the son of the family who owned the pub and his dad wanted a food named after him. A bit of fun! And the burger was delicious. Only one minor complaint from my husband- too many yummy chips on the plate but of course he ate them all.My meal was an Asian pork burger with Asian slaw and it was the best I had tasted. A really delicious lunch.
Went here with my family. Decor and location looked appealing and menu sounded good. I had the salmon with Asian noodle salad. It was tasteless, the fish wasn't cooked properly and the salad was more onion and garlic than anything else. Couldn't eat more than a few mouthfuls. Ordered two kids cheeseburgers and added vegetables for $2 each. The vegetables replace the chips, and are NOT added, so don't pay the extra cash. The cheeseburgers were soggy. The kids vegetables were Asian greens with oyster sauce... I have kids who are good at eating veggies but a pile of Bok Choy is a really tough ask....which meant I spent $4 to have them still hungry and not have any veg. We went to the Echuca hotel the night before and it was excellent....kicking myself for wasting my money and coming to Henry's. Go elsewhere.
