Lalore Cafe - Eatonton

This is a fantastic café with a wonderful ambiance and high-quality meals. You can expect to spend around $15 per person for lunch. I had the curry chicken salad, which was superb, brilliantly flavored with just the right amount of curry. The portion size appeared a bit small, but it was actually quite satisfying. My wife's chicken salad sandwich was also great, accompanied by her homemade French fries served in a charming basket. The service was both laid-back and efficient, with friendly staff. The café features a fully stocked bar and outdoor seating as well. It's located in the mall, so it might be a little tricky to find, but there's parking available.

I took a bit of a risk bringing my wife to this restaurant for my birthday, but I’m glad to say we were both very pleased with our meal. She ordered unsweetened tea along with the Chicken Salad Classic, switching out the roasted sourdough for ciabatta bread. I opted for the Fiesta Quesadilla Salad and an Arnold Palmer. We shared bites of each other’s dishes and honestly would have been just as happy switching meals—they were all delicious. For dessert, we had the warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream, which was simply heavenly. We will definitely be coming back. Oh, and they also serve a Jalapeno Margarita, which is nearly safe to try!

Today, we enjoyed another fantastic lunch at Lalore Cafe. I had the basil tomato soup along with a three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich, and it was wonderful. I even took a slice of cheesecake home for later. I'm feeling pretty happy!

The food is delicious and very fresh. We usually order for Bellissimo Salon. The cook is very talented and the food is always perfectly seasoned. I'm so glad to have La Lore here at Lake Oconee.

Excellent service and excellent food. On a funny note I was accidentally served the wrong sandwich but said what the heck. It was something I would have never ordered but WOW it was amazing! The owner is a great guy and he came and chatted with us. Highly recommend.
