This is a fantastic spot! It offers a wonderful selection of indoor and outdoor seating. The service is excellent, and the food is delicious. I tried the Jalapeño Margaritas, and they were amazing. The Tacos al Pastor were also very tasty. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a taste of south-of-the-border cuisine. View all feedback.
What John Hayes dislikes about Mijitas:
Abysmal portion size for the price of the entree (pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes). Service was somewhat slow and the server was not very attentive to the fact that we kept running out of drinks (both water and beers). The portion size on the tacos is much larger order those if you go here. The food itself, what little was there, was delicious. Benches outside were unpadded and uncomfortable. View all feedback.

During lunch, the offerings are typical burritos and similar dishes, but dinner is where the real excitement begins! The Mexican cuisine truly stands out. We enjoyed Dungeness crab guacamole, half-shell oysters, and short ribs served in an exquisite mole alongside rice. The margaritas were strong and expertly crafted. Everything was delicious, complemented by a lovely summer outdoor dining atmosphere. The interior is also gorgeous, featuring a fireplace, though seating is somewhat limited due to COVID-19 precautions.
I had a wonderful experience at this charming restaurant with outdoor seating. I especially enjoyed the fried prawn tacos and the Cocorita. It's a great spot located right in downtown!
Nothing can go wrong at this venue. Fun, local vibe. Friendly staff. Lomo de Puerco and Pollo al carbon is our usual go to and their mesquite spice is to die for! And chips are always served warm. I enjoy eating out in their lovely courtyard in the summer time as the indoor seatings can get really cozy. They are almost always busy throughout the year and reservations are highly recommended. Food is 9 out of 10 times amazing but I've had inconsistent meals a few times in the past.
Best Dungeness Crab Enchiladas! We ate in the courtyard on a handmade table and bench. Our service was prompt. The drinks were tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed the Dungeness Crab guac and the Short Ribs melt in your mouth. Our only issue with Mijitas…. We are way too much. Ha
