I recently ordered takeout for lunch, and my experience was quite disappointing. While the food was somewhat passable, it didn't make a memorable impact, so I would rate it a 2 out of 5. Unfortunately, the service was even more lacking—I would give it a 1, as it felt rushed and unprofessional. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant, even from a distance, was also underwhelming, warranting a score of 1. I had high expectations, but I don’t plan on returning anytime soon.
I often pick up food from How May Kitchen when I'm in the area, and I can always rely on it to be tasty and served hot! I highly recommend the lo mein and General Tso’s chicken. The wonton soup and egg rolls are excellent as well! I’m consistently happy with my takeout from this place. *Chef’s Kiss*
They have taken off the one dish I truly loved—the extra-large egg rolls. When I called to place an order and inquired about them, the person I spoke to indicated that the dish had been changed, but the language barrier made it difficult to comprehend. When I arrived and found out they were only offering the regular egg rolls, the kind you can get at any typical Chinese restaurant, I asked why the change had happened. Unfortunately, I was met with a puzzled expression. It's really disappointing, as I now have no reason to go back.
