We weren't in the mood for katsu, so we ordered a ramen udon soup instead. Flavors weren't too bad, but we would definitely try this place out again and do their chicken katsu. View all feedback.
What B M doesn't like about Maisen Katsu:
The chicken katsu curry was bland and almost flavorless. The katsu itself was alright, though a little too dry from overcooking. A far cry from the authentic stuff.Had had hopes due to the high reviews despite being a food court, sorely disappointed. View all feedback.

Maisen Katsu is located in the food court of H Mart. The menu is easy to understand, photos with all items. Service is friendly fast. The Katsu: some of the best I've ever eaten with a crunchy, flaky crust and completely non-greasy! The sauce is flavorful and light, the consistency just right and not making the Katsu mushy.Sides were rice cabbage salad as well as a broth with incredible umami. The price seemed rather high at first but fair one we saw the portion size.Definitely a place to frequent!!
The food is fantastic and fresh with professional staff. The food portions are generous, can always take some home or share with someone.
