What Mallory Feeney doesn't like about Heron's Nest Tea Room:
The scones are great, and service is quick and friendly. I had enjoyed a lasagne special on my last trip, and opted again for the special. This time it was homemade squash soup- delicious and a good sized serving. We had pots of tea and fresh scones as well. For dessert I had a scone with jam. The food is fresh, homemade and the service is pleasant. It is a lovely drive and beautiful view from the Heron's Nest. View all feedback. What River Jacobi likes about Heron's Nest Tea Room:
I went to the Herons Nest just over a week ago and had the quiche with salad and tea bisquit, it was absolutely wonderful. My daughter had the soup and sandwich, delicious. (she let me taste her soup). All homemade with fresh ingredients. I will definitely go there again when I visit Nova Scotia. View all feedback.

Enjoyed a cozy bowl of chowder and sconces here after a wind-whipped walk along the beach. A great spot for some post-surfing grub with a view!

read moreThe Heron's Nest Tea Room offers a mixed dining experience that left some customers disappointed but won over others. While some complained about small portions and average service, others raved about the homemade food, friendly staff, and beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Regulars praised the specials and seafood chowder, while new visitors appreciated the local craft shop, surf rental, and organic coffee offerings. Overall, the Tea Room seems to have its loyal following and continues to evolve under new ownership. Whether stopping by for a quick lunch or a leisurely meal, the peaceful setting near Lawrencetown Beach makes for a charming visit.
One of my favorite place to pick a snack before and after hitting the beach. Wonderful people and an amazing view of the ocean.
The service at this restaurant is exceptionally friendly, the breakfast sandwich is incredible, and the atmosphere has a relaxed and enjoyable vibe.
