I went to the Herons Nest just over a week ago and had the quiche with salad and tea bisquit, it was absolutely wonderful. My daughter had the soup and sandwich, delicious. (she let me taste her soup). All homemade with fresh ingredients. I will definitely go there again when I visit Nova Scotia. View all feedback.
What Mallory Feeney doesn't like about Heron's Nest Tea Room:
The scones are great, and service is quick and friendly. I had enjoyed a lasagne special on my last trip, and opted again for the special. This time it was homemade squash soup- delicious and a good sized serving. We had pots of tea and fresh scones as well. For dessert I had a scone with jam. The food is fresh, homemade and the service is pleasant. It is a lovely drive and beautiful view from the Heron's Nest. View all feedback.
Had an amazing day at Lawrencetown beach renting surfboards from the shop below finished with coffees and samosas in the tea room. The new owners are an incredibly lovely young couple who are freshening it up with organic local coffee and planning on introducing some really great offerings!
One of my favorite place to pick a snack before and after hitting the beach. Wonderful people and an amazing view of the ocean.
The service at this restaurant is exceptionally friendly, the breakfast sandwich is incredible, and the atmosphere has a relaxed and enjoyable vibe.
Great craft shop. Good selection of used clothes. Fine art prints. Great NS pottery. Wonderful place to shop for that 'great gift idea notion '! Small local food outlet and sandwich shop. Backyard point of land overlooks the surfers sliding across waves. Calm relaxing place to have a family picnic.
This restaurant is a wonderful gem. The carrot and ginger soup I had was absolutely delicious. They also have a selection of art, crafts, and vintage clothing available for purchase.
