What manwithabackpack doesn't like about Phoenix Hotel:
In the city on a Tuesday and need lunch and didn't want the expensive venues on water front which are always crowded and hard to get a table. So headed for the Phoenix which is close to water front. Decided to try the senior meals a try at $15.95. I had the meat loaf and my partner the lasagne both with chips and salad. The chips and meat loaf was good but the salad consisted of half a plate of green leaves and 2 pie... View all feedback. What Rachel P likes about Phoenix Hotel:
Popped into this quaint pub for a meal and drinks. Ordered the food at the bar and you receive a buzzer to let you know when it's ready. We ordered the shared entrée and chicken parmy. Both were lovely pub meals. Staff were efficient and nice. View all feedback.

Lovely place but I was very unimpressed with the food sorry. Ordered a Cesar salad and chicken meal. Salad has some unknown dressing.

read moreThe Phoenix restaurant is a hidden gem for those looking to avoid the crowds and high prices of the waterfront venues. With a mix of positive and negative reviews, the overall experience seems to be a bit hit or miss. Some customers found the food to be above average in quality and quantity, while others were disappointed by their meals being overcooked or lacking in meat. The restaurant's atmosphere was described as pleasant, with efficient and friendly staff. Despite some issues with noise from nearby rooms and the lack of variety on the menu, the Phoenix seems to offer a decent dining experience for those looking for a casual meal in a relaxed setting.
