Had a wonderful lunch with a friend of mine, food was amazing and Katherine was great, only complaint was that the manager didn't give us the option of having tap water when we asked for water which is very naughty, especially given it's £5 for a bottle of water.

A lovely hotel this was our 3rd stay We were on a dinner B&B package. Waiter very mudley explaining the dinner allowance. For the 3 nights we were booked in for we asked for the bill to go to the 2 different rooms, this did not happen. Everything was split which was awkward and difficult as we drank and ate different things and it all has to be sorted out when we checked out! I do not eat either fish or meat and found the vegitarian selection quite poor which was disappointing.

We have had 2 evening meals here. Both times the food was delicious, my favourite was the Hake in white wine sauce with crushed potatoes and my husbands favoirite was The Guinea Fowl. What makes this place great is the waiters and waitresses they are a credit to the hotel and the great view and decor. Would thoroughly recommend

This restaurant must boast one of the finest views overlooking Sidmouth. We visited for Sunday roast lunch as a treat for my husband who enjoys his food! The three courses were beautifully cooked and excellent value for money. The staff were courteous and helpful and made it a real experience for us. The dining room feels very luxurious and they have a pianist in the adjoining lounge area who adds to the atmosphere of elegance. They were also serving afternoon teas, with tiered cake stands crammed with cakes and dainty sandwiches but after our more than ample lunch, sadly we had to decline on this occasion.
