We chose this on holiday because we thought a local cafe would appreciate the custom more than a chain but quickly regretted this choice. Filter coffee was watery and food was made on the cheap. read moreSarah Jane's café in Sidmouth offers a varied dining experience, from commendable all-day breakfasts to notable customer service issues. While many patrons rave about the delicious breakfast options and reasonable prices, others report unwelcoming staff and mediocre food quality. Complaints about slow service, improper charge practices, and hygiene concerns have marred its reputation. However, the café's charming atmosphere and hearty meals, like the tasty bacon baps and well-prepared omelettes, remain highlights. Despite its shortcomings, Sarah Jane's is a cozy option for those seeking a casual meal in East Devon, albeit with some caveats for potential diners.
