You can find better chicken almost anywhere else. I really miss Dodges. When I lived in Charleston, South Carolina, my fiancé and I would always pick up some Dodges to bring with us when we visited her parents in the countryside. I also grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where Dodges was just down the street from my house.
The staff is rather unfriendly, and the prices on the pumps do not correspond to those shown on the signs. Furthermore, the overall environment feels unwelcoming.
I found roaches in my food—one even crawled out of the box after I finished eating. When I spoke to the manager, she dismissed my complaint by saying that every place has roaches and just shrugged. She then asked if I wanted my platter remade. No thanks, I'll take my money and business somewhere else. This is incredibly unprofessional and absolutely disgusting. If you're hungry, I'd suggest skipping this place. It's not worth it.
A week ago, I tried to fill up my tank at pump number 8, which was out of order, so I had to prepay inside. I paid $25, but the fill-up only cost $16. When I asked for the $9 refund, they said it would be credited back to my card. It's been a week, and despite calling every day, I still haven’t received the refund. They promise to call me back but never do. This is unacceptable, even for a small amount.
This place is ridiculous! I came in for a drink and it took over 15 minutes just to pay. They had two registers with two cashiers, but people formed two separate lines. Customers who arrived after me were able to order full meals and leave before I even got to pay. When I finally asked the price of my drink, it was less than a dollar, so I just left a dollar on the counter and walked out. They really need a better system, and their customer service is awful too.
