What User doesn't like about Hero Sushi Cairns:
I had a disappointing experience at Hero Sushi Night Market. They didn't have teriyaki, which was frustrating, and the girl behind the counter seemed unhelpful. I noticed they were offering regular fresh sushi, so I asked if they could make a Teriyaki chicken roll. The staff member looked annoyed by my request and then said I could only get it if I ordered two rolls, which I agreed to. After some time, she quoted me... View all feedback.
Awful customer service along with hygiene...I saw one of the chefs leave the toilets wearing gloves and then proceed to serve customers without washing his hands

Really quick and easy prices aren’t too bad for $4.80 got a really big fat teriyaki chicken roll. Customer service was quite good, they are friendly. Avocado was very fresh and soft.
Charge top dollar and is not very fresh. Avocado wasn't ripe either was actually crunchy.
They had a great combo deal: two handrolls and a bottle of water for about $11—a real bargain! After placing my order, my food came neatly wrapped in cellophane. The kiosk was well-stocked with plastic takeout containers, chopsticks, individually packaged wasabi, small soy sauce containers, napkins, and rubber bands to secure your container. This setup made grabbing my meal quick and easy, minimizing the amount of handling involved. I chose the salmon handrolls, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the fish—definitely not what I expected from an airport kiosk. It felt like I was in Japan for a moment as I waited by my gate, enjoying my handrolls. I didn't even need chopsticks; I simply pushed the handrolls out of the cellophane, added some wasabi and a dash of soy sauce, and finished them before I even reached my seat on the plane. What a delightful surprise!
