Pillars Restaurant at West London University in Ealing offers extraordinary value for money with high-quality dishes like cod with poached egg, spinach, and beef sirloin. The ambiance is pleasant, staff attentive, and service superb. The menu is innovative, with delicious options like gazpacho soup, hake with chorizo, and a platinum jubilee trifle. Despite being tucked behind the university, the atmosphere is welcoming and modern. The student trainees do an excellent job, with chefs accommodating special dietary needs. The quality of the food, attentive service, and overall experience make this a cost-effective gem worth returning to.

Extraordinary value for money. We had between 6 of us Spring vegetable soup, cod with poached egg, spinach and crushed potatoes, roast sirloin of beef with vegetables, panno cotta, chocolate and coffee cake. All very good quality with attentive service.

I am a 5th year student studying Culinary Arts Management and I am writing this review to express my joy and satisfaction in working at Pillars Restaurant on Friday mornings. Despite going through a delicate health period, being in the kitchen under the leadership of Executive Chef Paulo and his Assistant Chris makes me feel much better. Our food is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and prepared with love, passion, and dedication. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great gastronomic experience to visit our lovely Pillars Restaurant. Our food will surely make your stomach smile! Speedy Gonzalez

I have been living in Ealing for many years and recently visited Pillars Restaurant at West London University for the first time. It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be returning. The gazpacho soup with parmesan custard, hake with beans and chorizo, and individual platinum jubilee trifle were incredibly delicious. All of this, along with coffee, came to a total of £14.50 and they do not accept tips. My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

The food was fantastic and the service (particularly Dominic) was exceptional. The music was perfect as well. Can't wait to visit again

If you want well-cooked innovative food with a traditional twist then this is an inexpensive gem hidden in Ealing. It may not have the curb appeal of being in the town but it does have a pleasant ambience and well-decorated and furnished dining room that is light, airy and spacious. You cannot hear the conversation at the next table!!! Food is of a high quality and although the menu is small (is this a bad thing??? the choices are varied and surprising. The fact that all the staff (including chefs are trainees means that service is not Michelin Star but they are delightful and eager to please. The quality of the food is excellent and this is what one eats out for!! I would recommend this as a cost-effective London dining experience. We will return.
