Description

Lantern Taverna in Ealing Common offers delicious Greek food and excellent service, with perfectly cooked pasta and grilled sardines. Despite some initial reservations, the manager ensured a pleasant dining experience. Dante's restaurant impressed with the best fillet steak ever tasted, and scrumptious Margherita pizza and pasta dishes. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make it a perfect spot for tasty meals at reasonable prices. However, inconsistent service, unimpressive wines, and rushed closing times on quiet nights were among the few downsides. Overall, Lantern Taverna and Dante offer great food and ambiance, perfect for casual dining experiences.

The food was very tasty, and the atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday evening. We will definitely return.

I visited on my third evening and I should have visited earlier. I had the best fillet steak I've ever eaten! I was staying at the Hilton Doubletrees where the food is not very good. Dante is well worth a visit. Great food, great wine!

I had read about Dante on Tripadvisor but was not aware that it was within walking distance of the hotel. We had lunch there. I ordered a Margherita pizza and my friend had a scrumptious looking bowl of pasta with pomodoro sauce. We dined there on a Saturday and it was not that busy. Food was excellent !

Small restaurant, but with a really good choice on the menu, we arrived at 7pm and it was pretty empty, the owner (I assume) greeted us, he seems quite surly, but the 3 waitress's all seemed really nice and made it a good experience, both starters were tasty and well presented for main courses I had a fillet steak that I cooked myself on a hot stone at the table, great if you are fussy on his your steak should be cooked, my wife had ham shank, and in her words, it was so tasty and and just fell if the bone.By 8pm the place was nearly full and had a good warm atmosphere.
