We had a party of three with last minute reservations on Tuesday. from the moment we went through the door, our experience was nothing but fabulous! the host was polite, the waitress was personal, professional and knew the menu well! we started with flights from white wine, a wooden board and garnelenskewers. everything we taste and. more
When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to find our own table because the hostess was not doing her job. She simply pointed to a table on the other side of the bar and told us to sit there. The blackened chicken macaroni dish we ordered had a small amount of blackening seasoning on the chicken which was mostly washed off by the macaroni and cheese, resulting in a lack of seasoning flavor. The pizza we ordered had very little cheese but lots of toppings, although the flavor was still good. The waitstaff was excellent and provided great service, earning 5 stars for their efforts. However, the lack of seasoning on the chicken and cheese on the pizza was disappointing, and we do not plan on returning unless there are changes made to the menu, such as more appetizer options, fewer salads, and additional entree choices.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. We tried crab cakes, French onion soup, caprese, and fettuccine, all of which tasted fantastic. The staff was friendly and the raspberry lemonade was also good. On our next visit, the filet mignon was fantastic as well. We tried a couple of different wines and they were accurately described on the menu and tasted great. The cheese platter was much better than the one at the Crow's Nest. The only complaint we had was the goat cheese on the pizza, as we believe goat cheese should not be on pizza.
