Description

Talon Grill offers a mixed dining experience that leaves guests with varied impressions. While some praise the warm service and welcoming atmosphere, highlighted by personal interactions with the owner, others have encountered overcooked meals and long wait times, prompting disappointment. Signature dishes like the panko crusted rainbow trout and savory pot pie shine amidst critiques of burnt bacon and lackluster sandwiches. Despite inconsistencies in food quality and service, many appreciate the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere, making it a popular choice for family outings. With promise for improvement, the establishment remains a notable spot within the valley’s dining scene.

I cannot say enough about this place! We were greeted as we walked down the stairs. We were seated immediately, the owner greeted us and spent quality time with us, as if we were the only customers there. Seriously, we were treated like family. The rainbow trout in that panko crust was superb, the pot pie with its flaky crust was so savory. It was just a wonderfulexperience all the way around!

I dined at this restaurant with my grandparents and had a few disappointing experiences. Unfortunately, we were not informed about the daily specials, even though we saw other tables being told about them. The food was okay, but when we ordered dessert, we were informed that it wasn't quite ready. Just two minutes later, however, the table next to us received the cheesecake we had inquired about. Additionally, our waitress was somewhat brusque. While the view was lovely, the service left much to be desired. We tried to be polite customers, but we felt that we were treated poorly for no clear reason.

It's a fairly good restaurant... when they have a chef available. I'm not sure what's happening, but it seems like the management is having trouble keeping their staff, including the chef. I used to come here every week, but the menu has either been drastically cut down or is unavailable due to the chef shortage or other changes. I really hope they can get things sorted out because this place could be the best restaurant in Eagle Point if they put in some effort.

The breakfast was notably overcooked. The bacon was burnt, the sausage was dry and tough, as if it had been made days ahead, and the prime rib sandwich had a flavor reminiscent of spoiled meat. Furthermore, the Eggs Benedict didn't have any ham.

We had a fantastic experience at Dakoda! The staff went above and beyond to make sure the food was both delicious and safe for those with allergies. There were plenty of gluten-free and vegan options in addition to the standard bar fare. The drink menu was also impressive! I would appreciate having the updated menus available online, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. The prices were fair, the service was outstanding, and the views were stunning. Thank you for making our date night memorable! #holeinone
