Great snowcones! Such good flavor and adding a “glacier” is definitely worth it. I was very impressed with the customer service today, the two girls working were very kind and good with my young grandkids while they were ordering. When the kids couldn’t decide which flavor the employee recommended a few with fun names like “Spider-Man” and “Barbie and ken” the kids loved that! So creative! It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back.
The ice wasn't shaved and was big chucks of ice. Too much syrup. A cup of syrup with ice cubes isn't a snow cone. Looked like it was sitting out for a while and they just put syrup. Worst snow cone I've ever had! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
We normally love this place however the experience this time was bad.. the girls chatted in the shack. I got to hear about how they need to hang out more with each other. Took them 20 min to even acknowledge we were here. Then they took our order after they stopped talking to realize there was a line. I paid they gave me incorrect change. I went back up to the window and told them they gave me more money back than what I should have gotten back and the girl rolled her eyes, took back the money and gave me my correct change. Then made one of my child’s snow cones and then proceeded to make the people who were behind us. I had to go and ask them to please make them in the right order.
I’m so sad that the service was awful. It was 90 degrees and they didn’t care to get the snow cones out. The kids weren’t making any snow cones for 5 minutes. Then we ordered and they just stood in the shack and chatted the whole time. It took us 35 min to get out cones. Saturday June 3rd shift. I hope the manager figures it out because I love snoasis and never had an issue with the one in alpine.
Our sno cones were well made, but a picture of the sizes would be incredibly helpful when ordering. I got 3 x small for my kids, with plans to eat them in the car while driving home. As soon as I saw them, I knew taking them in the car would be disastrous and I was right. They were loaded crazy tall! We had sticky syrup dripping all over the picnic table outside within two minutes, and I used up 5 of my own wet wipes trying to catch it before it dripped off the table and all over our legs. I would have used dry napkins but I didn’t have any and you have to ask at the window, which would have taken too long. What a mess!! Anyway, I guess I’ll order the kids size from now on, though I still don’t know if there’s a larger size that doesn’t come way over the top of the cup. Again, an illustration would be helpful. It could be drawn on a piece of copy paper. It’d still be better than nothing!
