Under new management, this used to be run by Fife Council but they gave up, which was a pity because its the only place in the area to get a coffee, something to eat or the toilet. However as stated it's now privately run. There is a doorway at the top of stairs for take away or you can use the main entrance for the cafe if you prefer to sit in. Drop in with friends for coffee scones whilst walking coastal path. I had been praising this place looking forward to our coffee break. However lattes were lukewarm but we drank them anyway. When paying bill i was asked by very pleasant waitress if all had been ok with service that day. I said we had enjoyed our visit however lattes had been lukewarm. She apologised but was intercepted by tall dark haired man i presumed to be in charge he said if we had wanted hotter lattes we should have asked for that on ordering. I said sorry i wasn't aware of that rule. I then said maybe waiters should ask preference when placing order. He very rudely said it the place of the customer to request. My party of 3 were dismayed to be treated in this way. I was not asking for any reduction in costs but only replied to question asked by staff. What happened to being polite grateful for custom. Very bad attitude to display to staff. Doesnt deserve to get customers. N Sutherland.

Great place to chill whilst on your Outlander tour, walking down from Ravenscraig Park access via the beach on the opposite side of the harbour or up Hot Pot Wynd) or whilst just visiting the beach and harbour. The server was polite, prompt and well presented.
