I visited this restaurant because it was Monday and every other restaurant around was closed. The reviews and photos looked good so I gave it a try. It was nicely decorated and cool inside on a 90° day. It was also almost too dark to read my menu. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and helpful. The food I received here was honestly the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. Their iced tea was horrendous. The beef on my nachos was obviously low-quality and tasted like that plasticky stuff that taco bell uses. I couldn't believe how small the plate of $12 nachos was that was placed in front of me. The grease hadn't been drained from the fajita steak, so everything tasted like grease. There weren't enough peppers or onions mixed into the greasy steak either. The seafood on my seafood enchiladas had obviously just been boiled rather than sautéed. Everything was just... bad. Everything but the salsa. This was, oddly enough, the best salsa I've ever had at a restaurant. The meal was supposed to come with 2 free bowls of chips and salsa, but they never offered me any more. I made the mistake of ordering tacos to take home with me they ended up outside for the wildlife to eat since it was the same yucky beef. So basically I pad $35 for a great bowl of salsa and some nice air conditioning.
I've only been here twice, but the service and quality of the food are top notch! We ordered enchiladas fajitas and shrimp chimichangas, which were both delicious and worth the price.
Amazing family owned restaurant. Everything from food quality to the clean and hip restaurant decor was to love. I definitely recommend. Especially if you have an itch for good traditional mexican food.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Tiny bit pricier then most Mexican restaurants but definitely worth it. We'll definitely be back.
