The a... read more I decided to take a chance and it paid off! I randomly chose this restaurant as a halfway point to meet a colleague for dinner, and I couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I love the space, its history, and the story behind it. I sat at the bar, and the service was impeccable (thank you, Eddy!). I ordered the risotto, and it was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, this place has all the ingredients for success, and if I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by.

The name "Station 343" pays tribute... read more The restaurant offers fantastic steaks, chops, chicken, salads, and more. They also have a nice selection of beer cocktails. The name "Station 343" pays tribute to the 343 firefighters and paramedics who lost their lives on 9/11. The interior features a fire station theme, complete with a real fire truck and an array of badges, patches, and decorations. The building, constructed in 1881, boasts beautiful wooden floors and brick walls, and it’s conveniently located along Route 66. Be sure to visit! The service is consistently excellent.

It... read more We on our way to Bloomington, IL on I-55 and decided to look for somewhere to eat dinner. We “Googled around” and found Station 343. Wow! It was incredible! It is located in a cool little town named Dwight, IL. It’s not hard to find. The food was delicious. The service was fast, friendly, and informative. Our waiter Sean was great! The inside of the restaurant was super cool. It was decorated with all kinds of firefighting equipment. There was even a half of a fire truck hanging on the wall! Everything was super clean too. We started with an order of Fried Pickles…. And a side Caesar Salad. Both of them were great. I had the Fish and Chips with fries and coleslaw. My wife had a Smash Burger with fries. Every single thing we ordered was perfect. We are soooo happy we found Station 343! I would highly recommend to everyone! Parking: Diagonal parking on both sides of the street.

Observing the owners' interactions with their staff is quite concerning; they treat their employees very poorly. For me, that's reason enough to steer clear of this restaurant.
