We were pleasantly surprised by the impressive iced Thai coffee at this charming little shop, especially considering the reasonable prices. Another highlight of our experience was the incredibly friendly and welcoming customer service. We definitely plan to return to try their ice cream and other drink options on our next visit!
I stopped by Pine Cone today expecting to just see ice cream, and was amazed that they have coffee too! And baked goods! The cappuccino they made for me was top notch, and the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. They serve Maple View Farm ice cream (if you've never tried it, it's great and local) and Joe van Gogh coffee (same story here). Talk about an awesome, local business that supports other local businesses. Prices are great and the environment is very cozy. I'll definitely be heading back here for ice cream or coffee on a lazy afternoon. 11/10.
This quaint little ice cream shop is situated in Brightleaf Square, near Main Street. They serve delicious ice cream sourced from Maple View Farm in Chapel Hill. The flavors are exceptional, and I particularly enjoy the brown butter bourbon flavor—or something similar in name. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, it’s a great spot to treat yourself!
The ice cream was delicious! The service could have been better. They had a sign offering free waffle cones, but we didn't notice it till after we had gotten our ice cream and were on the way to check out. We asked if they would still give us the free cone but they said no since we didn't notice the sign before checking out.
