Cocoa Cinnamon Geer - Feedback
Reviews
Was Michael Forhez at Cocoa Cinnamon Geer a mag?
We visit this restaurant several times a week. It has a similar vibe to the coffee shop in Friends, but it is real. They could improve their selection of breakfast items, but the coffee is amazing and the baristas are friendly, helpful, and enjoyable. This restaurant is a popular spot in Durham and a reliable choice. View all feedback.
What Matt Morris dislikes about Cocoa Cinnamon Geer:
Overrated and overpriced. I assume it’s popular because of the exposed brick and indie music, because the coffee is basically Starbucks but more expensive. There are probably a dozen better coffee shops within a mile radius (Foster St, Liturgy, Oak house, Everlou, to name a few… . Plus, the staff are always insanely rude every time we’ve come here to give it another shot. View all feedback.

Most expensive cup of coffee in Durham. Also, the best coffee in Durham. Hard wooden benches, inconvenient places to set your cup down and terrible Feng Shui. Best cup of coffee.
SMALL CAFE SHOP WITH GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD/COFFEE/TEAS ETC CHURROS ARE THE BEST
Always delicious. Always a lovely spot to hang/work/breathe.
Delicious espresso, 4th dimension coffee is a real gem Edit went to location on Geer St today and the lattes were fantastic, cups had my name written super cutely, it was great. Thanks to the great baristas working 2/26 around 4pm!
Lots of seating, wifi, and adult beverage options for the entire family.
Nestled amidst an eclectic atmosphere, this coffee shop is a mixed bag for visitors. While some praise its inviting ambiance, friendly staff, and outdoor seating, others find the coffee overpriced and underwhelming, likening it to mainstream chains. Despite its shortcomings, including occasional rudeness from staff and limited seating, the venue shines with its unique vegan options and community vibe. Many loyal patrons cherish its exceptional mochas and the cozy space for work or relaxation. Though experiences may vary, the blend of flavors and atmosphere keeps both new and returning customers intrigued, making it a noteworthy stop in the coffee scene.

The best espresso I had in durham, no, nc, no east coast. it's fanatic flippy. I don't know why some people complain about the staff, they were great. as friendly as required for the job. I look forward to buying freshly roasted, award-winning beans as soon as my offer is low. I suppose if they complain about customer service, they are probably a legitimate card. go to a coffee shop for the coffee, not the irresistible adoration of the personal.
Lovely coffee shop with a diverse selection of beverages. Used to chill out here a few times before the pandemic.
I absolutely love this coffee spot. Super friendly staff and excellent drinks and pastries. The outdoor seating is great and I loved the speciality drinks.
The tastiest mocha latte I've had. The barrita did an excellent job and added a heart design (was better before I took the photo). The richness of the chocolate and the taste of the Cinnamon is delicious. I had to really control myself because I just wanted to drink the whole thing quickly it was good. They have some tables outside that you can sit at. Inside is small with a few stools and standing area where you can drink inside. I think most order to-go.
Really delicious and affordable prices for the quality. the staff was attentive and helpful. I have my drink efficiently and without problems. I'm glad to come back here when I'm in the opposite!

This is the best coffee spot in the country! We really miss the Moctezuma, especially the extra hot version without cayenne, now that we've moved away. We've been looking for a coffee shop similar to Cocoa but nothing compares to it. The coffee, the atmosphere, the layout, the people, and the staff are all exceptional. It holds a special place in our hearts and we really miss it.
This coffee shop in downtown Durham is a hidden gem. Located near popular spots like Full Steam, The Pit, and Motorco, it offers plenty of covered outdoor seating perfect for enjoying a coffee on a sunny day. They have a variety of hot coffee options, including a daily pour over and specialty cocoa drinks made with ingredients from different countries. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
The atmosphere is eclectic and dynamic in a cadence unseen elsewhere.
Coffee is great no other way around it absolutely Perfect from the first sip to the last. The only down side is the wait so don't go in a hurry it takes time to perfect coffee... worth it for sure.

I was pleasantly surprised by the unique selection of beverages at this restaurant. The combinations were interesting and I really enjoyed the tomato feta croissant I ordered.
I always order their hot chocolate made with real chocolate - it's delicious! They also offer a vegan brownie that's worth trying.
The restaurant offers great vegan drink choices, including pure cacao and spice drinking chocolates with no dairy. They consistently have vegan pastries and snacks in the display case, such as local cookies, all clearly labeled for dietary restrictions. The baristas are knowledgable and the outside area is dog-friendly.
