We ate here for breakfast on a Saturday. They accommodated a large group on a busy morning. The restaurant seems super popular so get their early. Food was quick to come out and was very tasty. We will be back again!
The walls of this charming little breakfast spot are decorated with sports memorabilia, giving CJ's Diner a unique local flavor that residents of Durango, Colorado, love. Today, I opted for the "Totally Meat Omelet," which was filled with ham, bacon, and sausage, and I chose a generous helping of melted Pepper Jack cheese on top. The meal also came with hash browns and your choice of toast, biscuit, or tortillas, making it a delightful breakfast experience. Despite the diner being quite busy, the attentive staff kept our coffee cups full, and our food was served promptly.
So good we went a second time during our week long visit to Durango. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food. Gravy and biscuits were outstanding! Can’t go wrong with pancakes or French toast either. Decor was tribute to home town events.

I'm here on Sunday morning ...early . CJ is closed Sunday, always has been yet people keep showing up, Haven't eaten here in years.We don't have the time.Had the best hervos Ranchos last time we were here.
