First time at bobs. Had the steak... fabulous!!! Cooked perfectly. Better than the steak last 3x at the keg! Salad was delicious with house dressing. Vegetables tasted like they came from the garden out back. Kudos! View all feedback.
What Richard Sammon doesn't like about Bob's Place:
Went in last night for dinner with my parents and aunt and uncle. Ordered the fish and chips. 16.99. What was brought to my plate was essentially frozen grocery store fish sticks. Absolutely appalling that get this served to me at a restaurant, especially one with the reputation I recall this place having growing up. My daughter ordered the 21.99 chicken parm. LOTS of pasta and sauce and a small piece of chicken buri... View all feedback.
The food was great. The sizes were awesone even the kids meal. The wait was alittle longer then i expected but otherwise great overall experiance :)
Been around forever one of the nicer places in town. Good food Great service reasonable prices nice atmosphere for a small town
Had lunch at Bob's Place with two friends. The food was wonderful and very large portions. However, the service was very slow. We had to go and track down our waitress to ask for our bill.
This was approximately our 4th or 5th visit on a Friday night on the way to Selkirk. Always found the food delicious...had a couple of problems with the service however. A couple of times we waited at the entrance for what seemed like forever with no acknowledgement from the staff who bustled by continuously. (The sign says wait to be seated) A hello would have been nice!Another time I was told they were sold out of wings so I ordered another item. Shortly after that people were seated nearby and the lady ordered wings and was told by the server that they were out of wings but had a boneless type available. I would have liked to have that option. Same server!!!!!But like I said initially..much better experience last few times.
I really loved this cute little diner in Dunnville. I'm visiting my friend for the upcoming festival and we decided to stop here for lunch per her recommendation. I got the Pork Shish Kabob meal which was only $14 for such a large portion! The meat was juicy and tender, the Greek salad was perfect and the baked potato was delicious. I even got extra tzaziki sauce for free! The diner itself isn't fancy, just laid back and they didn't have an exceptional menu or anything else, so that's the only reason I'm not rating it a five star. But if you're looking for a cheap and good tasting quick meal in Dunnville, this is definitely the place to go!
