If you're looking for a pleasant, family-style meal for a price that's just as appetizing as the food, look no further. I've been meaning to give this place a try for a while now and I'm glad I finally got the chance. Now, I love exotic, crazy foods as much as the next guy (well, probably a lot more) but I also love good old fashioned home cooking that tastes like everything came fresh from local farms. I ordered the liver and onions (a favourite of mine that's hard to resist) and was very pleased with it. I was even given a gravy boat for my potatoes. It felt like home. Plain and simple.Now, the atmosphere of the place is very much in line with the food. It's a simple, country-inspired dining area that's light on the frills, but not unappealing by any means. Just a nice place to enjoy a meal with family.I must point out that the service was very polite and friendly, as well. I had a very nice conversation with the owner on my way out which topped off my first experience at this lovely little restaurant nicely.I will be happy to return for lunch or dinner in the future.
