Can you tell the difference between the two meals? The burnt one was from the Dunellon restaurant. They attempted to give us another order, but it was burnt in the same way. The waitress insisted, "I made sure these are from today!" It definitely raises some questions! The second meal we had at the Phoenix in Crystal River two days later. Made a to go order, staff are great, food was terrible!! All 4 pork sandwiches the toast dripping with? Not sure. Wasn't butter. Pork smoked a week ago!! Mac n cheese had zero flavor and the coleslaw is poisonous!! Taste like cleaner!!! And apparently supposed to be remodeling the interior!? This place is a mess!! Save your time and money and stay away from this place!! Service: Take out

Food is over priced. All of my food was cold except for the greens. The pork was dry and the beef was mostly fat. Unfortunately there are no other BBQ places in dunnellon, if there was this place would go out of business in a matter of weeks. I waited a few days to write this review as I'm always hesitant to give any business less than 5 stars. My aim is to make management aware of these issues and hopefully we can all have a better experience. The food was very thrown together using poor cuts of meat. I had the pulled pork and the chicken meal with 2 sides. I chose baked beans and greens. The greens were okay but the beans were few and far between. It was basically a bowl of pulled pork with a spoon full of beans. Not good at all. The meat was absolutely sitting in grease all day and tasted just like that. Grease. Both the chicken and the pulled pork. Most of the pulled pork was very hard to chew and the taste was awful. I ate hardly anything and it was quite disappointing.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We waited a long time for our food, which arrived cold and tasted awful. The tables were dirty, and when we requested to speak with the manager, he didn’t bother to come over—he was sitting at another table, even though the place was mostly empty. In the end, we left without eating anything, and they gave us a 50% discount, which we felt wasn't even warranted. Overall, it was incredibly disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch.
