Some of the best food I've had while travelling down here. Very quick and efficient service from the lovely staff. Only complaint is the mushrooms were slightly over cooked but other than that our meals were perfect. View all feedback.
What Megan R doesn't like about The Good Oil Cafe:
Ordered three meals from here and had brought a coffee from Starbucks, and were told by an older male worker we made everyone in the Cafe uncomfortable and were an embarrassment by bringing in a coffee. He did not comment on the table beside us with Tank drinks. Has never been a problem before. Was very rude from the worker, technically harassment. Fantastic friendly service and good coffee with tasty food.
Very busy however staff handled it well. Was recommended to us. We were lucky to get a table. Highly recommend. That was February 2022. Had a week in Dunedin in August 2022 and had brunch/ lunch here on several days. Again great food, awesome choices and all staff very friendly and helpful. Still very happy to recommend.
This place for food is truly amazing!! One of the best breakfast’s I’ve had in Dunedin. Fabulous customer service, also quick service for delivery of your food.
Cool little cafe just in the central part of Dunedin. It has a relaxed and hip atmosphere where young people are hanging around. A nice place to be stopping by for some coffee. Overall I cannot say it was expensive and the menu was fairly reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpfull.
Friendly happy staff. I ordered Cappuccino and the froth was sooo smooth. I dfinitely recommend this coffee shop. Hope the owner looks after the staff well
