What User doesn't like about Tartan Coffehouse:
Out of all the coffee houses in Dundee, this one is at the bottom of my list for return visits. The food and drinks are not anything special, and it seems like you are mainly paying for the location on Perth Road. The food looks and tastes like it was reheated in a microwave and thrown onto a bun, trying to pass off as upscale Perth Road cuisine. Had a lovely lunch, where we got the meal deal which included the halloumi bagel and the soup of the day. The quality of the food was high and the service was really quick. Was a little pricey for a student such as my self...but it is well worth the money. I also told my girlfriend I would leave her for the halloumi bagel and she was not amused. View all feedback.

read moreNestled along Perth Road, the Tartan Coffee House entices with its charming ambiance and artistic flair. Patrons often appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. However, opinions on the food and coffee vary significantly; some find the offerings lackluster, reminiscent of reheated fast food, while others rave about the tasty locally-produced paninis and delightful desserts. Although the coffee may not impress all, the establishment maintains an inviting vibe ideal for a casual bite or a sweet treat. Ultimately, for those in search of better quality and atmosphere, Dundee’s café scene presents more appealing options.
