Was User at The Old Fork a mag?
I been there several times and always had a good meal. The service has been alright but in a large group it can take some time to even order water. I believe that anyone will enjoy their quality meal. Even with a group I would go there again. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about The Old Fork:
Today, we sat down for lunch in the restaurant. We are aware that the kitchen can be slow at times because they serve large functions in their banquet rooms. However, if you are running a restaurant there is a standard ticket time of around 20 minutes. We waited 50 minutes for our meal, we paid in advance of our meal being served the server said "we have a lot of things going on in the hotel today". My Fav.The service is amazing and the food is delish. Such good portions as well.A must try ??
What an underdog story! We headed into Duncan for breakfast and planned to hit up whitespot but it was closed and opted to take the chance on The Old Fork. We were very skeptical but we’re blown away by the quality of the food. Service was very friendly and fast given there only being one server running the front of the house. Restaurant was clean and had a very relaxed atmosphere. We had four orders of the buttermilk pancakes are we weren’t disappointed. Haven’t tried the rest of the menu but what we did have was hot, fresh and quick… what else can you ask for in a breakfast! Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Duncan or travelling through.
Good food and service. We enjoyed a burger, fries, deep fried pickles and poached pear salad. The cocktails were also good but the draft beer was off... we don't blame the beer itself but suspect it is just that the lines are not being cleaned regularly/properly. We'll go back for the food but will likely just get bottled drinks in the future.Vegetarian options: Good salads to choose fromParking: Easy parking and large lot
It's difficult to choose between breakfast and lunch at this restaurant. Both options are top-notch and deserving of a 5-star rating. You can't go wrong with either choice.
The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be returning, but I won't be able to indulge in the Double Stack Heart Attack Burger again.
