The food was delicious and came in very large portions. After ordering the Greek Platter, I have now delicious food for 2 days.

Before moving to Canada, I had some disappointing Greek meals in the US, which made me hesitant to try again. After living in the Duncan area for six years, I regret waiting this long to revisit Greek cuisine. The Greek lamb at Pegasus is outstanding! It’s juicy and perfectly seasoned, with subtle notes of lemon, rosemary, and garlic that are well-balanced. The slow-cooked shank or rib paired with rice, lemon potatoes, and tzatziki sauce served with pita are equally delightful. We always take home the rice and potatoes if we can’t finish them because they’re that good! Since our first visit a month ago, we’ve dined here four times and plan to try the souvlaki and other menu items once we get tired of the Greek lamb and calamari, which seems unlikely! Everything we’ve tried so far offers great value for money. EDIT Dec-18-2014 We decided to try one of their pizzas, thinking their excellent Greek food would translate well. Unfortunately, we were disappointed! It was dry, flavorless, and too doughy. We ordered the Meat Lovers as take-out and regretted not eating it in-house so we could have voiced our concerns. Sorry, guys! We absolutely love your Greek lamb and calamari, but the pizza left much to be desired.

My favorites are the sou... read more --- 25 January 2015 Fantastic Food and a Relaxing Atmosphere—I adore everything about Pegasus. I've been a regular since they opened. My favorites are the souvlaki and the donairs, and the fries are absolutely irresistible. The dressing on the Greek salad is full of flavor. I've never been disappointed by any dish. I especially appreciate how they keep the coffee coming (and it’s great coffee, too!). Please support this locally owned and operated restaurant. You won’t be let down! Shelley ILoveCowichan.ca
