Description

In recent visits to a locally renowned pub and restaurant, diners experienced a mix of promising culinary delights and challenges in service and safety protocols. Many praised the traditional Syrian dishes—especially the hummus and baklava—as delicious and perfectly prepared, despite some initial chaos amid the restaurant's new management and high customer volume. However, concerns were raised about the lack of social distancing measures and cash-only payments. While some experiences reflected outdated service and management attitudes, a few spoke highly of friendly and attentive waitstaff. Overall, the establishment shows potential, but consistency remains key for future success.

This was my first visit, and the new management seems to be doing okay. It wasn't terrible, but I did notice a lack of social distancing measures. It's no surprise that COVID-19 transmission has increased among younger people. They really need to enhance their safety protocols.

Large eating and service the owners are from Syria and thus his name peace

The hummus was outstanding—smooth and nutty, with just the right amount of tahini. The baklava was also fabulous; it was delicately layered, sweet, and perfectly crispy. I must return soon to enjoy it with a cup of coffee!

Very tasty and friendly service

My husband and I visited for lunch and shared several dishes, including Tabouleh salad, kebabs, hummus, and baklava, all of which were delicious. The service was friendly; I had a few questions, and our server quickly found the answers for me. They only accept cash, so be aware of that. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can't wait to go back!
