However, there are also positive reviews highlighting the large portion sizes, friendly service, and delicious butter chicken. Glared at me like she hated me sheesh then ended up telling mesomeone has took my meal I paid over 50$ dollars for like what the heck. I told her how would someone take my meal? She said idkthen walk away ????. Idk how she has the job her customer service was terrible
We stopped there awaiting for our ferry, the last one of day to Salt Spring Island, it was an early dinner in August. Even at that time they had several tables busy and loads of delivery pickups. Yet we were not made to wait, everything was prompt, water, nan etc The blond caucasian lady's service, sorry can't recall her name, was fantastic! There seemed a great ambiancebetween her and the kitchen. The food was so good. We stayed longer to the last minute for the ferry and placed an additionalfamily sized order they got going very fast. It was a takeaway to bring to our family on the island. Shrimps were crispy notover cooked. The salad crunchy and fresh. Everything memorable even now many month later. Just recalled that I hadn't left thema posting review as I just recommended it to an Indian gentlemen from a Telus service. The quantities were really nice. We Ilike nice filling Indian meal. We are not fan when things come in tiny pots that are like four spoons and finish. Definitely notthe case there. The decor is a bit...., well, we came for the food, not for the decor. Its sort of county Diner (without thechromes) but all was clean, shiny and quite! We were two and ordered several different dishes and were nearly having a friendlyquite fight over who can finish what? We sure will arrange another stop there going to the island next summer and bring dinnerto the island again. Sorry can't locate my pics now. Will come back to add some if possible. Vic Mike Burnaby
