Slevin's Gastropub - Dunboyne
Slevin's Gastropub
Description
Slevins Pub in Dunboyne, Ireland has garnered a mix of reviews for its food and service. While some had disappointing experiences with small portions and unfriendly staff, others have praised the delicious food, warm atmosphere, and professional service. The renovated pub offers a great selection of food and beverages, with attentive staff and a cozy ambiance. With new owners and staff, the restaurant is working to address some teething issues but has the potential to become a go-to spot in the village. Overall, it seems to be a place worth checking out for a meal or drink in a charming Irish setting.

Excellent food. But the absolute winner was the service… it was busy and as we sat down I prepared to be waiting on service but not at all. Food was better than pub grub but not fine dining perfect for the ambience. Great atmosphere, busy but not too loud. All good
We were staying at the nearby hotel. This was relatively close and an easy walk. We had an enjoyable meal and the service was great.
I didn't have any food today. I go to quizzes. In pubs. Lots of them. Lots of really good ones. They do one here on a Sunday night with a bloke called Keith Shanley, starting at 8 for 8.15 and the quiz, and pub, customers and staff are as good as any. If you are flying out of Dublin Airport on a Sunday evening jump out at 1500m altitude and with a bit of luck you'll land here. I can't wait to eat here! Service: 5
Absolutely beautiful food complaints to the chef, would highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
