Delicious food and great service. would definitely recommend!

Nice cosy restaurant. The starters were amazing . Possibly the best bruschetta I ever had. I ordered steak rib eye. It was awful. A bad cut of beef. Really tough. I told the manager and he took the price of my meal off the bill. My husband had the lamb and he said it was really nice. Desserts were delicious. The service was ok. It was really busy and they were run off their feet. I’d go back again and order something other than steak the next time .

I had a very pleasant meal here on a packed Saturday night. The restaurant isn't big although there is additional seating upstairs and sufficient space between tables to remain comfortable. The food was really great. I enjoyed everything including the wine. Just an observation and not a criticism, but it's not a steak house in my opinion in the sense that there were only 2 steaks on the menu. It's more a restuarant that has steak on the menu, than a restaurant that specialises in steaks. This said the steak was very good. I also loved their salad, which from me is saying something. Portions are sufficient rather than extra generous. Overall I thought expensive enough however the upper end of tolerable given the quality of the food. 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 dessert, 1 coffee, 1 bottle of wine was €127 excluding tip.

We were greeted warmly by the restaurant owner, and he did a nice job making us feel comfortable. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and was fabulous! Very tasty! My wife had a steak sandwich with onion rings. She really likes onion rings, and is especially happy to receive exceptional onion rings. She said these were some of the best onion rings she had ever had. The steak sandwich was good as well. I had the Pollo Emiliana, and likewise thought it was great. My only complaint was a very limited beer selection.

We booked our work end of year meal at this lovely restaurant in Dunboyne. We had a fabulous evening, the service was excellent and the food was beautiful ! Highly recommend this restaurant.
