Phenomenal coffee. Awesome atmosphere. Lovely staff and crowd. The place is also pretty comfortable to sit at to get work done. I am yet to try the good and will definitely come back. View all feedback.
Funky little coffee and breakfast shop on the main strip of Dulwich Hill. Really cool and beautifully decorated. Coffee went down well. Excellent service.
Decided to give this new venue a shot. Ordered the chicken burger with bacon and egg, chilli, sun dried tomatoes and avocado. This thing was a monster, absolutely loved it !! Made a mess of myself eating it.<br/ <br/ My sister had a croissant sandwich with leg of ham, that looked the business as well. Overall we enjoyed our late lunch very much.<br/ <br/ Ambience: Pleasant atmosphere, spacious with plenty of tables. The staff are very nice, and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.<br/ <br/ Food: Loved what we ordered, they have a few other items I would like to try, they also have an assortment of sweets as well.<br/ <br/ Price: The burger was $14.50 and paid a bit extra for the bacon and egg, which is fair enough. All up we left $28 dollars lighter but, well worth it imo, especially when comparing to the other locals.<br/ <br/ The Stable has been open for 3 weeks, and business seems to be booming. It's really good to see more of these places open, people love variety, and Dulwich Hill is building up, slowly, but surely.<br/ <br/ If you happen to be in the area, give The Stable a go.
Call me greedy guts but the corn fritters were a bit petite. Three small, albeit perfectly formed and flavoursome, patty pan sized fritters are presented on a plate with half an avocado, small dish of bruschetta mix, tomato relish and dressed rocket leaves. Re-reading the menu on the website, it looks like it should have also come with bacon? In any case, it's a nice spot for a brunch meet up and the staff are friendly and attentive. Next time, desserts.
My favourite cafe when I visit the old stomping groundswell where I grew up. Sparkling water on tap to compliment the double espresso. Enjoy my time sitting out front outside.
Came in because I saw many people working on their laptops and figured I would be welcome to sit down and work on mine. It’s been 4 swift hours and I haven’t been disturbed, have gotten more work done today than the past week at home and the matcha and oat cap that I’d ordered were delicious; the perfect temperature and for the right price. The same can be said for the scrumptious Rueben toastie I had for lunch. I would recommend this friendly and incredibly cosy cafe any day!
