The restaurant offers excellent coffee and a straightforward menu featuring classic cafe items and essentials. The atmosphere is pleasant, service is friendly, and the menu is straightforward. Prices are competitive for the Dulwich Hill area. Outdoor seating and a welcoming local vibe make it a great spot to visit any day of the week. View all feedback.
What Deborah Dach doesn't like about Bar Valente:
Decent staff, decent food, decent coffee. This place is not bad, but neither is it great. It's just average. There are lots of better/nicer cafes just around the corner from this place. View all feedback.
Bar Valente has always great coffee and food the staff are professional and super attentive. The Baristas know what a great coffee is! I always seem back to Bar Valente when in Sydney.
I love coming here for my coffee. The guys are very friendly and there's nothing they wouldn't do to make you feel comfortable. I wish there were more table in there, there can be a little loud with the cars outside and or on windy rain...days. Not a good selection of cakes you need more variety and choices. The bathrooms could be upgraded, but different from this beautiful place if you want a fast feed and good coffee.
My first sojourn into Dulwich Hill in such a long time brought me here. A lovely weekend breaky/brunch joint with decent pavement dining space. Prompt and friendly service got my my coffee while I perused the menu. A surprising number of options that all looked...good and suited my yearnings. I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon instead of ham. Beautifully presented and quite tasty even if the excessive amount of sauce was a little off putting and unnecessary. The coffee was superb and well made and frankly ... left me thinking I should spend more brunch hunting here in the future.
Spoiled for choice in this area but I always go to Bar Valente. The coffee is consistently good and the service is friendly and prompt with no long waits for your morning caffeine fix. The food is basic but they cook their eggs well and...everything is fresh. It is an unpretentious place, friendly and comfortable. You can sit outside with your dog and there are big umbrellas.
Friendly, fresh my favourite Tobys estate coffee.Staff is smiley a great little local cafe, have been using it for past 2years
