Don Soo Baek - Duluth
Don Soo Baek
Description
Refined Version: I used to love this restaurant when I first arrived a few years ago, but recently the quality of the food and service has declined. It feels like they no longer put in the effort they used to. The other day when I went to pick up an order, the front staff seemed disinterested.

This will be our last visit to this restaurant. The quality of the food was disappointing, and I was very let down. It feels like we get the same server every time, which is not a pleasant experience either, as she doesn't come across as very polite. I had to eat a whole pack of Mentos just to get rid of the bad aftertaste. I'm doing myself a favor by deciding not to eat here again. I can only imagine how much time and money I've wasted.
The pork broth soup (Dwaejigukbap) here is arguably one of the best pork-based soups in the entire country. It boasts an authentic flavor and comes highly recommended.
Delicious food and excellent service! I was initially hesitant to try this restaurant due to some reviews about the service, but I had a wonderful experience during my visit. The staff was attentive, and the food was not only tasty but also served in generous portions. I felt a bit guilty for not being able to finish my meal. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.
I really enjoyed the food. I'm not usually a fan of ox blood, but this hyejanggook exceeded my expectations. The service was good, although they didn't check on us much, and there was no traditional bell on the table typical of Korean restaurants. We had to raise our voices a bit to get our side dishes refilled. Our total for dinner for two came to $30, not including tip, which I found to be a reasonable price.
