Our first visit to the Mill we were not disappointed we both had the steaks I had pepper sauce my wife had the blue cheese. The steaks were cooked to perfection. With fries onion rings vine tomatoes and a pot of mushrooms beautiful. Nice pint of Holdens golden and a free bottle of wine with the meal great. To see the meal of we had treacle sponge ooo that was nice. Staff very nice polite and cheerful. So yes our first visit and yes already planning our next.

After receiving numerous positive recommendations, we finally decided to visit The Mill ourselves and were pleasantly surprised. The downstairs area is a modern and contemporary public house with a large square central bar. Three young bar staff efficiently managed the busy bar, ensuring no one was left waiting. We were directed upstairs to the cozy restaurant, which had rustic decor and ambient lighting. The wait staff were delightful - friendly, efficient, and apologetic for some menu items being unavailable due to high demand. I ordered the steak, which was perfectly cooked and served with chips, roasted tomatoes, spicy onion rings, and a delicious blue cheese sauce. For dessert, I had the syrup sponge which was absolutely delightful. My only minor complaints were that the wine was served warm due to warm wine glasses, and the same issue applied to my friend's gin glass. Additionally, three or four menu items were unavailable by 7:45pm, which was disappointing given the already limited menu. However, overall our experience was fabulous and we look forward to returning and recommending The Mill to others.
