Set meal is good value for money and the service was very good. It was really cold in the restaurant and there was no heating on. I had to wrap my coat around my legs. Been going for years and never had a bad meal, hence we keep going back. However the place really needs updating, it is looking very shabby and the ladies loos are very bad, tatty, untidy and not too clean either.
Yes great atmosphere. Great staff, good service, clean tidy friendly. Local to us too, a bonus. Great place to eat
This was the first occasion that my family had visited these premises to enjoy an evening meal. However there was no initial warm welcome by the staff and were directed to our table where we ordered our meal and drinks. The food was excellent and presented well but it was truly noticeable that the staff were not happy to be serving you and they never asked anyone of five of us in the party if the food supplied was alright and appeared to ignore our table for further drinks etc. We had to ask for our bill numerous times and had to wait a while before it was presented to us to pay. Such was our concern by the staffs behaviour we asked to speak to the manager to give them feedback so that the staff could have training in customer service but were informed that there was no manager on duty that evening. Even on our way out the staff ignored us instead of thanking us for our custom which is a pity, as you don't get a second chance to make a first impression and as a result will certainly lose our future custom.
Went here tonight 15/3/25 looked at mixed reviews so wasn't sure but glad to say food was delicious lot tastier then when i ordered from.a takeawayservice was great even though we were at the back of the restaurant you can also order and collect but shame no delivery would go again Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
