Faradays offers a diverse breakfast buffet and a charming atmosphere, complete with booth seating and outdoor options for pleasant summer dining. While some dishes like the rump steak and fish and chips received mixed reviews for taste and preparation, the overall dining experience was elevated by attentive and friendly staff. However, issues with service consistency were noted, particularly during busy times, leading to delays and communication lapses. Despite some criticisms, many patrons praised the restaurant's ambiance and exceptional customer service, emphasizing that a return visit might prove more satisfying once conditions improve.
The restaurant was quite busy for a Monday, but I waited over 90 minutes for a cheeseboard. When I chased after about 50 minutes, I was told by the supervisor that they were working on it. The supervisor later came and asked if it was the burger I had ordered, even though I had confirmed it was the cheeseboard. After waiting for 90 minutes, I went to the bar and canceled my order. However, a staff member informed me that they couldn't refund me and I would have to see reception. This was a disappointing customer service experience. The only positives were the lady behind the bar who tried her best to help in a courteous manner, and the guy on reception who handled the situation professionally. Overall, it was a bad experience for a simple cheeseboard order.
The menu is currently limited, but the food was tasty. I tried the Rump steak on the first day, it was okay, a bit tough but had good flavor. The Fish and Chips the next night were not bad, although I would have preferred more mushy peas and the batter was slightly undercooked. I would be interested in returning when the restaurant is fully open and I can dine inside. The service from the staff was excellent, very attentive and professional.
Visited Valentines Day. The service was atrocious. We had to ask for service Nobody checked how our meals were. We were not offered drinks, other than when we got there first. Will not be going back ,
Everyone loved their meals, which were made even better by the friendly and efficient waitstaff. While the menu was somewhat limited, everyone was able to find something they liked. It was good value for money, especially since the bar prices weren't significantly inflated like in some hotel restaurants.
