I visited this restaurant because it was conveniently located. The booths were spacious, and the bar area was impressive. The service was outstanding. Initially, I was worried about the food prices, but once I saw the generous portions, those concerns vanished. Everyone in our group ended up taking home leftovers. I will definitely be returning!
The front desk staff was very informational with the local happenings. Bar area staff was great, a little history about tap beer. Enjoyed the bar and other guest conversations. Our room was clean and all in place.
Food was good. Service was too. But considering I got a open face steak sandwich and fries that was on special for the day a 18$ price tag was a bit extreme. But I will praise them for giving a 50% military discount
It's a great spot to enjoy a drink and some appetizers. On lovely days, sitting on the patio by the fire pit is just perfect.
I had a wonderful evening at River Rock in the Holiday Inn, Dubuque! Our bartender and server, Nancy, was fantastic in every way. I really enjoyed the Friday night fish and chips special—absolutely delicious!
