The fish fry comes either in catfish or cod, platter or anything you can eat.(which is only during fasting) We chose everything you eat cod and are full, yes, it was so good. The Lord waiting for us was attentive, helpful and made our experience even better here. We will definitely come back. View all feedback.
What Luis Costa doesn't like about Closed:
It is just okay. I was expecting a lot more. The prices are a bit high for what you actually get. The specials on the wings could stand to be a bit better, like they should bring back the $0.25 special that they used to have. I tried the bluegill and it was mediocre. I tried the pretzel and it was pretty good. My boyfriend wasn't overly satisfied with his food. Not a bad place though. View all feedback.
It really enjoyed a dinner in the button Country Roadhouse tonight. We had both Broasted Chicken and it was soooooooo good. Fries were also great. The good Ol' Potosi Pint was what I needed. Service was excellent... my only disappointment was that they are not open for lunch on Wednesday
Had the Friday fish fry, it was excellent! All you can eat during Lent. Great friendly service, great clean place!
Great rail of beers and super nice server with a smile like nobody's business. Golf on TV, good music. Becoming a fav stop between Dubuque and Galena.

I have been here several times. The Blue Gill Dinner is my favorite dish. I do have to call ahead to make sure it is available, which kind of tells one how good it is. I also like the pretzel. It is difficult for 3 to 4 to eat that and still have room for dinner. But it is so good. I have always had wonderful service. Being a bit slow to serve is not an issue. They can get busy like anywhere else, but is worth the wait.
