A wonderful place to eat if you like Korean fairy tales. The restaurant is clean, well designed, many seating and facilities are impeccable. Parking is also abundant. The service is fast, the food is full of taste and the portions are generous. Try the Kim Chi pancakes, it's amazing. The only drawback here is that the kitchen closes pretty early so make sure you meet this place earlier. This place can join large grou... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Go Goong:
No wonder this place has 3.5 stars. Terrible service by Kylee from the moment we stepped in, until we left. Kylee was very rude. Kaylee gave us weird and inconsiderate looks; as if we were speaking to her in a different language and was full of rude and negative attitude. It seems as tho Kylee does not understand her job as a food server nor the meaning of pleasant customer service.Which we Californians have become ac... Awesome experience will return, food and service. Food was hot and delicious
I'd highly recommend take out at this place. Food is excellent and young staff is very good. The downside is no WiFi Loud Korean pop I just don't understand going out in public with their little kid coughing the entire time??? A table of 8 Korean golfers showed up half in bag and loud like it's their private residence!!! Mi felt sorry for the 2 young workers while I was leaving and these jackasses were making a scene. Again takeout only for me moving foward
Tofu soup failed. $18 for tofu soup that is overly salty and only contains soup, tofu and onion. Pork tofu soup has lots of fat and had pieces of hard and fatty pork which looked and tasted like cured meat. Seafood tofu soup was again onion, tofu and octopus only. Side dish also disappointing in quality and quantity (no fish cake), we tried this place once awhile back but today tofu cabin was closed and thought we gave it a second chance but they did not improve.
I tried their hot stone bibimbop it’s was delicious but the meat serving was so small. Same with their bone soup meat proportions is so small and thinly sliced almost didn’t tasted that it was part of the ingredients same with the noodles, the soup was too bland but they gave me a salt shaker. Their place was clean and their staff were courteous.
GoGoong used to be our go to spot when we lived in the areaDined on a Thursday evening and unfortunately this place has gone downhill.Service was great, attentive kind. 5 stars.Food and portions 2 starsWife ordered the kalguksu and seemed to enjoy it. The seafood pancake was 90% batter and veggies and maybe 10% seafood. Couldnt taste any.The pork kimchi stirfry was not good. Maybe 5 pieces of thinly cut pork belly that tasted very old you know that flavor.Price 1 star. $85 with tip for 3 dishes.Unfortunately don’t think we’ll be back again. What a shame.
