Contribute FeedbackXico is a vibrant Mexican bar in the heart of Dublin, known for its tasty cocktails, excellent food, and pulsating music. Despite limited vegetarian options, it's a recommended spot for drinks and a good time. However, the strict ID policy and lack of food service may deter some patrons. The nightclub atmosphere on weekends is lively, with great music and a small dance floor. Special deals, like half-price Mondays, make it an attractive choice. Overall, Xico offers a reliable, fun experience with delicious drinks and food, but be prepared for some limitations and occasional service issues.
I'll never book a table here again. Just want to complain about how rude and (pass me the term) dumb your staff is. Maybe it's not even them but it's the ridiculous policies you have- I.e. a person who looks well over 21 and is able to show you their ID scanned on their phone- this type of documentation is accepted by employers and embassies all over the world but apparently not at Xico- can't get in without showing their physical ID. When asking bouncers if it is possible to go back home, get the physical ID and at least skip the queue at the entrance, bouncers react with a hostile and rude attitude, denying the request. Having lived abroad for the past two years I was asking around as to where would be a good spot to go clubbing on a Saturday night and Xico's was repeatedly mentioned. Arriving around 1 a.m. it was really busy and there was a queue outside but after some sweet talking we managed to get in and the music inside was just what we had hoped for plenty of hip hop R B! Only real down side was the dance floor is a bit small especially as it's so crowded.
Another of the mexicans in Dublin... Xico is probably the one with the best decoration. Graffitis, photos, all mexican themed, makes us search for details in every place. It's a really nice and trendy place. This is, without a doubt, the best thing about Xico. The problem is everything else not being such as good... First of all, it's very expensive, both food and drinks even for Dublin standards. Also, there is not much to choose from, because the menu is short and there are some typical plates missing. We tried a chilli bowl where the chilli should have been more spicy, it lacked flavour; the tacos were very good (and the presentation is good also), but they were very small; and...read more
Beautiful Mexican restaurant with good mood. we went to dinner and the food and drinks were great. especially the margueritas. the music was also very good, we didn't stay too late, so I can't say how it is as a bar/night club.
Great eating great drinks great offers. the door staff left them a bit similar to other bars in the group. but the personal in the inner is great and the general mood is brilliant!
