Feedback
The restaurant is situated in a great location, but needs some modernization. The food quality varies, with some dishes being delicious while others lack flavor. The service can be hit or miss, with some staff members providing excellent service while others fall short. Overall, the restaurant has potential to be a nice dining spot with some updates and fine-tuning. Despite mixed reviews, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. With some improvements, this restaurant could become a standout spot in the area for both locals and visitors.
I can't say enough about this restaurant. Our visit was absolutely incredible. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, clearly enjoying their work. Everything about our experience was perfect, from the ideal lighting to the background music featuring artists like Billy Joel and David Bowie at just the right volume. We had a voucher for 2 starters and 2 mains for €35, and were blown away by the quality of the food. I had the seafood chowder for a starter, which was delicious, while my partner enjoyed a tasty mackerel pate. For mains, I had the roast chicken with mash and veg in a red wine gravy, and my partner had the lamb shank with chips. Both dishes were amazing, as were the desserts we indulged in at the end. The chef and waiting staff were top-notch. From the moment we arrived until we left, we had no complaints. It was a perfect experience. Thank you so much, and we can't wait to come back again soon.
Went for dinner with my husband in Upper Deck Howth on Friday evening. We recieved a lovely warm cosy welcome on a cold dark night. Our table was ready by the window and the decor was lovely. The waiting staff were attentive and very welcoming. The menu was beautiful with something for all tastes. I had smoked salmon, chicken fajitas and banoffi pie with a lovely glass of red. My husband had wings, lamb shank and banoffi. All beautifully presented and even though the restaurant was fully booked there was no wait time and the staff looked after us so well. We did have a pigsback voucher which made the meal ridiculously cheap but found the menu was very reasonably priced. We would both recommend it and will be back. Thank you

The menu at Upper Deck offers delicious food, though the service could use some improvement. Nonetheless, the staff remain friendly and polite throughout the experience.
