Union Square/Mayfield is a lovely new restaurant with a well-thought-out menu and decor. However, reviews were mixed. The outdoor seating, dog-friendly area, and gift shop add to the charm of the place. Despite some negative experiences, many patrons still enjoy the warm welcome and innovative menu. Was Anonym at Union Square a mag?
Having lived nearby, we visited Union Square regularly for years. The staff are wonderful, the food outstanding, and the decor has a distinctive, vibrant charm. When the weather is nice, they offer outdoor seating, including a dog-friendly area. There’s also a gift shop on site. Although we’ve since moved to a different neighborhood, we stopped by for lunch in June 2019 and found it just as delightful as ever. It was... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Union Square:
The new restaurant features an impressive design, but the food did not meet expectations. The ribeye steak was unfortunately inedible due to both the meat quality and the cooking. The chicken dish was decent, but it was nothing special and reminded me of a standard Irish pub meal. I have no plans to return. View all feedback.
I had previously enjoyed lunch at Union Square and decided to return for an early dinner with my family, including our three-year-old. Fortunately, other families had also brought children, so no one felt disturbed. We all chose the two-course early bird menu. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and I was tempted by nearly everything. I went for the delicious nachos and the hake with green curry. Every dish was delightful, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was wonderful—attentive without being overbearing—and especially kind to my nephew. With its beautiful decor and, most importantly, a delicious and enjoyable meal, I will definitely be coming back to Union Square.
I always visit Union Square with my mum because she loves it here. At first, I wasn’t a big fan, but it’s definitely starting to grow on me. We shared a mackerel pâté and a berry sponge cake, which I really enjoyed. I'm quite particular about my coffee since I’ve had many bad ones before, but I have to say their coffee is excellent. I’m sure my mum and I will be back again soon.
What exactly accounts for the 50 cent increase in drink prices over the past two years? Aside from that, the place is excellent.
Union Square is the best restaurant on campus, offering a diverse menu where students can comfortably discuss their concerns.
